An experienced and highly regarded coach, Robinson joined Oldham Athletic in July 2016 from Motherwell having been the first team coach with Northern Ireland in France during Euro 2016.

After a playing career most notably with AFC Bournemouth and Luton Town, and gaining seven international caps, Robinson made the transition into coaching with the Northern Ireland under 16s.

He quickly gained a reputation as a top coach, working with the Northern Irish under 17s, 19s and 21s before being appointed first team coach in the current set up under Michael O’Neill.

Robinson was an integral part of Northern Ireland’s Euro 2016 campaign which saw them beat Ukraine and earn a place in the Last 16 of the competition.
