LMA DIPLOMA IN FOOTBALL MANAGEMENT GRADUATION
The first cohort of the LMA Diploma in Football Management have been presented with their certificates at a graduation ceremony at the University of Liverpool.
14 managers and coaches completed their studies at St George’s Park in June, having previously attended a one-week residential course in June 2014 followed by 8 one-day Masterclasses throughout the year. Modules included the LMA’s ‘Survive, Win, Succeed’, Influencing & Negotiation, Mental Toughness & Resilience, Football Finance, Diversity, Equality & Inclusion, Sport Science and Performance Analytics.
The course, which is accredited by Liverpool University, is designed around the LMA model of football management, focusing on leadership, personal development and wellbeing, and provides a bridge between the game’s coaching qualifications and the realities of management in the modern game.
After a procession of university representatives, the following graduates were presented to the University Vice-Chancellor at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall:
