BOSS BUOYANT AS BOB BAGS THREE

The Brighton and Hove Albion manager Peter Taylor was delighted to see striker Bobby Zamora rediscover his scoring touch with a hat-trick in the Seagulls' 4-3 win over Cambridge.

The coveted forward had gone through a four-game run without a goal after a stunning vein of form in which he had scored in eight consecutive matches.

Taylor praised the player for not giving up in the middle of a run that, for Zamora, represented a worrying spell without success.

The Seagulls managed to win the match 4-3 with the Cambridge team managing to get an equaliser three times and Zamora's deadly finishing skills were what gave the Albion the edge.

Taylor said: "Bobby has not been in the best of form of late but he scored three goals and he will enjoy reading the newspapers this weekend.

"As soon as the penalty went in I think he knew he was back and he keeps working as hard as he can even when things are not going for him so he deserves his success.

"But all players go through challenges like this in their careers."
