TAYLOR SECURES SECOND SUCCESSIVE PROMOTION WITH TIGERS

Hull City boss Peter Taylor paid tribute to his players after they clinched a second successive promotion after their 0-0 home draw with Swindon Town, in front of over 23,000 fans.

“We’re delighted to get promoted and it was even better to do it in front of our own fans. It was a big day for us and I thought that the players handled it very well.

“I’m on a high at the moment and can’t believe that the season has gone so quickly.

"It's a bigger test to get out of this division because it's tougher than League Two," he said

"Luton Town have been the most consistent side and we've not been too far behind.

"The spirit in the camp has been good, the togetherness has been excellent and every time they train they try to improve, which is important."
