08 Mar 2010 TREWICK AND HEREFORD PART
Hereford United and John Trewick have parted company.
A statement on the club website read;
"In a meeting this morning with Chairman Graham Turner, John Trewick was informed that he was to be relieved of his duties as Hereford United manager.
"During the meeting John was given the reason why Graham felt it was necessary to resume management control of the playing staff at this time.
"John understood the reasons and further discussions about the situation will take place next week.
"The club would like to place on record our thanks for the considerable hardwork he has put into the club both, as manager and coach.
"Graham Turner will take over the manager's responsibilities in the short term, a decision will then be made about the long term future."
He initially joined Hereford in the summer of 2004, as assistant manager to Graham Turner before he was appointed manager in May 2009.
During his time at Edgar Street, Trewick helped guide The Bulls to two promotions, assisting United to gain promotion from the Conference, and then into League 1.
