Graham Turner has been appointed the new manager of Shrewsbury Town.
Club Chairman Roland Wycherley stated on the club website;
"I'm delighted that Graham is back at the club where he had a prolific career as a player and enjoyed his first taste of success as a manager. We can now enter the new season with confidence, and I'm sure our fans will look forward to this year's campaign with renewed optimism".
Graham added;
"It's great to be back where I started out all those years ago, and I have fond memories of my previous spell here. I'm looking forward to getting started and will be doing all I can to bring success to the football club".
Turner, a LMA hall of Fame member, has achieved five promotions in a managerial career spanning over 1,000 games and scooped a prestigious LMA award for services to the game in 2009.
