AFC BOURNEMOUTH PART WITH GROVES

AFC Bournemouth and manager Paul Groves have parted company.

A statement on the club website read;

"AFC Bournemouth have today (3rd October) parted company with manager Paul Groves and assistant manager Shaun Brooks.

"Groves and Brooks were appointed on a permanent basis in May 2012, after a short spell in temporary charge last season, and leave the club ten league games into the new campaign.

"The pair previously worked as youth team manager and head of youth respectively, and oversaw the development of talents including Josh Carmichael and Josh Wakefield.

"The Cherries back room team will remain unchanged and an announcement regarding who will take temporary charge of the first team will be made in due course."
