Tottenham's Andre Villas-Boas has won the managerial award for February.

He accepted another Barclays Manager of the Month Award and insisted: “We have to keep this consistency going.”

The team won three out of three matches in February – 1-0 at West Brom, 2-1 at home to Newcastle and then Monday’s thrilling 3-2 win at West Ham, to move up to third in the Premier League.

The victories stretched their unbeaten run to 11 in the Premier League and one defeat in 15 since November.

“It’s been another excellent month and this is a reward we share with everyone,” said Andre.

“It doesn’t mean it stops here. We have teams in behind us chasing the same objectives. We have to bridge the gap and that will put us in a more comfortable position.

“At the moment everything is going well, but we have to keep this consistency going until the end of the season.”
