Jack Wilshere, Luton Town Manager, has won this week’s Everest Men’s Performance of the Week following his side’s superb 4-3 victory away at Reading.
Wilshere’s side produced a fantastic comeback to secure a dramatic victory on the opening weekend of the EFL season, earning him the first Everest Performance of the Week Award of the 2026-27 campaign.
Each week, the esteemed League Managers Association panel, comprising of LMA Chair Martin O’Neill OBE, Steve Coppell, Jess Creighton, Jo Currie, Les Ferdinand MBE, Sir Alex Ferguson CBE, Barry Fry, Chris Hughton, Mick McCarthy, Stuart Pearce MBE, Clare Tomlinson, Carla Ward, and Rachel Yankey OBE, considers and evaluates the standout performances from across the men’s game before voting to decide the deserving winner of the Everest Men’s Performance of the Week.
