The LMA Wellness programme, supported by the Premier League and guided by wellbeing professionals, the LMA is committed to providing our members, professional managers / head coaches, with access to tailored personalised. world-class healthcare, consultants, assessments, insurances and wellbeing guidance and support, when and wherever It may be needed.
Our membership presents a myriad of health and wellbeing concerns, many directly linked to the unique challenges and requirements of a career in elite level coaching. We continue to advocate to our members to see their health and wellbeing as central to their ability to not only live a long and fulfilling life but also fundamental to their in-work performance.
The LMA physical health assessments are offered annually to members and provide bespoke, gender- and age-related health and wellbeing assessments. These also include referrals and signposting to a network of specialist health consultants and services, along with access to a comprehensive private health insurance scheme.
Physical health testing is also extended to members’ families at a bespoke discounted rate.
As a benefit of LMA membership, members and their families have access to a telephone GP service provided by the LMA Wellness partner, HCA Healthcare UK.
As a LMA member, there is access to join the LMA Vitality Healthcare Scheme, which provides comprehensive private health insurance cover, available to the member and their family members.
The LMA’s private health insurance scheme provides market leading insurance with unique benefits, rewards and discounts.
Bespoke levels of cover, excess and policy type are available and members can join the policy at any point during the policy year.
Even when cover is offered under an employment contract, a club or employer may wish to fund the member's enrolment into the LMA’s plan. Those who have chosen this route find that it ensures consistent, unbroken cover when changing roles and gives peace of mind at a particularly busy time.
