Match Report
Coventry City hit Queens Park Rangers for seven in an emphatic win at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The Sky Blues made the perfect start to the game, taking the lead ten minutes in when Milan van Ewijk picked out Haji Wright in the middle and he slotted the ball past Joe Walsh.
That lead as doubled ten minutes later and this time it was a loose pass which was collected by Jack Rudoni and he teed up Brandon Thomas-Asante and the striker found the top corner.
The hosts had their first opportunity when the ball fell to Esquerdinha, but his shot went wide of goal.
City then took the game out of sight when Matt Grimes charged forward and found Rudoni and he twisted and turned before firing the ball into the top corner to make it 3-0.
