LMA & LCA Leadership Masterclass explores 'The Rituals of Team Excellence'

The LMA and LCA was delighted to welcome a number of its members to Trent Bridge, the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, for its latest Leadership Masterclass.

Facilitated by renowned performance psychologists Dr Chris Shambrook and Katie Mobed, the Masterclass explored ‘The Rituals of Team Excellence’, providing members with an opportunity to reflect on the behaviours, habits and processes that underpin consistently high-performing teams.

This included discussion on how individuals can play a crucial role in strengthening the confidence and collective belief of a team, and the importance of forensic performance reviews in helping to prepare for the next moment that matters. A unique aspect of the LMA’s Leadership Masterclasses is it provides members with the opportunity to share and collaborate in a live setting alongside their peers.

Mike Gilmore, LMA Member Services Manager, commented: “A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our latest Leadership Masterclass. It was a fantastic day, providing our members with the opportunity to learn, collaborate and network with their fellow professionals.

“We are extremely grateful to Dr Chris Shambrook and Katie Mobed for facilitating such an engaging and dynamic session, and the feedback we’ve already received from attendees has been fantastic.

“As always with our Leadership Masterclasses, the objective is to create an environment in which members can develop new skills, challenge existing thinking and improve their approach. Ultimately, this helps equips them with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in their careers.

“We look forward to welcoming members to our next Leadership Masterclass later this year.”
