STATEMENT RELEASED ON BEHALF OF MICHAEL FLYNN
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Board – David Bloxham, Paul Godfrey, Clive Gowing, and John Murphy – for giving me the opportunity to manage Cheltenham Town Football Club.
“Whilst there have been challenges for us to contend with, I fully acknowledge that recent results have not met the standards expected.
“I would like to wish the club’s new owner, Mike Garlick, every success as he leads Cheltenham Town into a new chapter. I have no doubt that positive progress will follow, both on and off the pitch.
“My best wishes also go to Steve Cotterill, who returns to the club as manager.
“A heartfelt thank you to my staff and players for their hard work, professionalism, and commitment throughout my tenure. And finally, to the supporters – thank you for your passion and loyalty. Cheltenham Town is a special club, and I will continue to follow and support it with great interest.
