Dylan Hartley Supports T. Rowe Price Q&A

LMA Ambassador and former England rugby captain Dylan Hartley, recently supported T. Rowe Price to share insights on leadership, team culture and performance.

Drawing on his experiences leading both England national rugby union team and Northampton Saints, Hartley reflected on the principles that underpin high-performing teams and how they translate from elite sport into the corporate world.

A central theme of the discussion was the importance of culture. Dylan highlighted that while talent and strategy are essential, it is shared standards, accountability and trust that ultimately enable teams to perform consistently under pressure. Clear roles and a strong collective purpose, he explained, help individuals understand how their contributions support the wider team.

He also spoke about resilience and adaptability, reflecting on the challenges and successes throughout his career and how effective leaders guide teams through both.
