Bryan Robson OBE and Ryan Giggs OBE Support Toyota Private Dinner

LMA Partner, Toyota Lexus, hosted a private dinner for Operations Director, Mark Roden, who will be retiring at the end of this year. Since 1995 over two spells at the organisation, Mark has also become a friend of the LMA following the two organisations close relationship and partnership that has now reached over 6years. A keen Manchester United fan, Mark was surprised to see both LMA Members and iconic Manchester United players, Bryan Robson and Ryan Giggs, join them for dinner at 14 Stories London.

The LMA would like to wish Mark the very best in his retirement and also thank him for his support of our organisation and the commercial partnership between Toyota Lexus and the LMA.

The LMA is delighted to announce a long-term renewal with our Official Trophy Supplier, Mappin & Webb. Over the last few years, the partnership has produced a number of awards of recognition for various LMA Members throughout each season as well as the LMA Annual Awards each May. Most notably, they recently created silver salvers for the latest inductees into the LMA Hall of Fame 1000 Club; Steve Bruce, Unai Emery, Ian Holloway, Jürgen Klopp, Mick McCarthy, Jose Mourinho, and David Moyes OBE. As a grantee of a Royal Warrant, Mappin &Webb’s services have been recognised at the highest level consistently throughout their 250 years of business.

As part of their partnership renewal with the LMA, Mappin & Webb will continue to produce bespoke trophies, salvers and awards of recognition for LMA Members whilst also continuing to play an integral role in the LMA Annual Awards Dinner each year.

We are very much looking forward to continuing our productive relationship with Karl and the team at Mappin & Webb.

Ellen White MBE supports UCFB students with Career Insight Q&A

In October, LMA Ambassador, the Lionesses all-time scoring leader, and Euro 2022 champion, Ellen White MBE, attended a UCFB Student Experience Day at Old Trafford to pass on her knowledge to students. UCFB have been a partner of the LMA for over 10 years and through our partnership have accessed the LMA Membership, our Ambassadors, and colleagues from within the game to provide vocationally relevant Q&A’s that provide insight into the world of professional football. Ellen’s support provided students with a rare opportunity to engage with someone who successfully reached the top of their field and explain what it took to get there.

The LMA would like to thank Ellen for her support and providing her time to support UCFB students.

Fabian Hürzeler takes part in Premier League Summit Q&A

LMA Member and Brighton and Hove Albion Head Coach, Fabian Hürzeler, recently supported the Premier League on behalf of the LMA with an in-depth Q&A at their Coaching and Performance Summit in Shoreditch. The two-day event provided speakers from a range of backgrounds and positions within Premier League clubs and covered topics including leadership, innovation, and development across football.

Fabian particularly focused on his path to becoming a Premier League manager, whilst reflecting with honesty and humility about the support he has received to shape his development so far. He also covered his approach to leadership and his approach to ‘friendly authority’ where an environment of respect, openness, and accountability is created.
